Festive Food Delights
Starting on 27th November, you can enjoy a festive Afternoon Tea which features a seasonal twist on our signature offerings. You can feast upon a selection of sandwiches including turkey & stuffing and ham & pease pudding, and devour a selection of sweet treats like mini mince pies, mini Black Forest gâteau and our mulled berry fool.
Also beginning on the 27th November, you can enjoy our festive lunch served from our award-winning Restaurant 1782. There are many winter heartwarmers included on the menu including a chunky winter vegetable broth and beautiful roast turkey served with the finest trimmings. At £25 for three courses, it’s a Christmas lunch in Northumberland you won’t want to miss.
You can also celebrate the festive season in style with one of our Christmas party nights. In the night of feasting and dancing, you’ll be treated to a festive three-course meal in the evening, followed by music and dancing with our disco and resident DJ. The Perfect Christmas Day Break in Northumberland
Stay with us on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with our two night Christmas residential package. Check in to your exquisite accommodation on Christmas Eve and enjoy our festive afternoon tea in the drawing room and cocktail bar. Take in our local choir singing Christmas carols, followed by pre-dinner drinks and your evening meal served in our fine Restaurant 1782.
The next day you’ll be treated to a delicious cooked breakfast and a fabulous four-course Christmas lunch. The King’s Speech will be shown in our drawing room at 3pm, and you can join us in the evening for our Christmas Day buffet. A hearty farewell breakfast will be served the next day to prepare you for the journey home. Starting from £425 per person, it’s the ideal way to experience Northumberland at Christmas.
If you live locally you can also join us for Christmas Day lunch, where you’ll be treated to a traditional Christmas lunch followed by coffee. You can round off the afternoon by taking a stroll around our grounds, or you can rest in front of the fire in our drawing room.
Enjoy Hogmanay on the Scottish Border
Located only a short distance from the Scottish border, our manor house is the perfect location to celebrate the new year. Join us for our five-course Hogmanay gala dinner, where you can dance the night away with our resident DJ and disco, and welcome in the new year with our resident piper.
Starting at £300 per person, you can relax for two nights in one of our luxurious rooms or suites, have cocktails and canapés in our cocktail bar and drawing room, and enjoy the gala dinner. The next morning you can enjoy a late breakfast, afternoon tea later in the day and Restaurant 1782’s à la carte menu in the evening.
